Permission to land on runway 1 please?

It has been an uninspired day for a blip. I had intended a sunrise, but the sun was behind some very thick cloud which didn't shift all day. I was waiting for the weather to improve. In desperation, I went out to blip the Catholic church at Hassop, a village about a mile away.

On coming home, I spotted one of our swans coming in to land. They always do a couple of circuits before landing which gave me some time to up the ISO and get positioned, not that I've ever done any bird shots before!!

so, here is my first in flight bird blip!

I actually think this is best viewed LARGE to see the detail (and the noise!)
