Lichen and bracken

Ailie and I met in the riverside car park and walked to Lordenshaws via Whitton Dene and back by Whitton Hillhead. We got rained on and dried off then rained on again and again. But it was a good walk of 5.5 miles before lunch.

Book Group 1 this afternoon Farewell to Arms. We had a variety of opinions which made for a good discussion. My choice next time - Girl with the Louding Voice by Abi Dore

Back to school today. I haven’t heard yet how they all got on.
