NOT a moderate breeze!

Daughter had time off so joined us for a walk in the Cheviots. The forecast was moderate breeze but up there it was gale-in-the-face so very hard to keep up a good pace.

Daughter had a good catch up with Dennis heading up towards Cheviot from South Middleton which is still snow-covered. We did 6.25 miles on our round so I’m doing well this week with the miles towards John O Groats. The sky was blue but it was quite hazy and the wind was biting.

Last night we watched Power of the Dog. It’s Jane campion so I expected it to be slow. It was. Dennis fell asleep. I enjoyed it, though the storyline was predictable. I’d recommend seeing it on the big screen as the cinematography was stunning. Not Montana though - made in NZ.
