River Dee
Today's the day ……………………… to ebb and flow
I took the above picture today of the River Dee at Tongland, when the tide was at its lowest ebb - and as you can see, there's not a lot of water to be seen.
If you look at the extra, taken from the same place last week, when the tide was high and after lots of heavy rain on the hills - it hardly looks like the same place. The highest tides can raise the level of the water in the Dee by around 8 metres or so.
So no wonder it looks different - that's a lot of water …………………...!
