It's that time of year......

.....when nature feels the primal urge to ensure the survival of each species. This Great Tit was calling insistently to a possible mate on a nearby tree while the frogs (which have returned for another session) were going crazy in the pond below. The extra shows a frog sandwich of a poor female between two male frogs. There was quite a bit of action while the males battled for supremacy, first on the surface then sinking three feet down to the bottom of the pond where they tumbled over and over until I lost sight of them. I hope they all survive.
