2021 Monday — Sun Screen
Today was my turn to go to the doctor and it was Mitzi’s turn to go to the veterinarian.
This morning one of the veterinarians from the clinic where we take our pups phoned us to discuss the results of the blood work that was done for Mitzi this past Friday. We learned back in December that Mitzi had early signs of liver disease. The vet this morning explained that Mitzi’s numbers were greatly accelerated. She wanted to do an xray, an ultrasound, and several more tests right away. So Mr. Fun and Mitzi spent the last half of the morning at the veterinarian office. We’ll know more results in a couple days. It’s almost been a year ago that we said goodbye to Max dog due to liver disease. This newest liver issues with Mitzi is quite worrisome.
This afternoon was my turn. At 2:30 I had an appointment with my dermatologist. I have two areas I wanted checked. So, next Tuesday I will return for two biopsies. She explained that all over my body I have signs of having been in the sun too much. I explained that as a kid growing up in Southern California we were always in the sun, and laying out on the sand was almost a year round pastime. She explained that the rest of my life I will need to wear sunscreen. My photo is the product that she recommended.
Good night from
Southern California,
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
and Chloe & Mitzi too!
