Happy 2 years & 364/365'ths

So tomorrow my little Tobes is three whole years old. I can hardly believe it! It has just flown by although when I think of what I was doing on this night 3 years ago, not knowing what to do with myself, not daring to believe that the next day I was going into hospital to have a baby who, God willing, would be okay - that seems like another lifetime ago. I can hardly imagine now how we got through that last night after the agonising wait of the previous 9 months.

Today we had a brilliant party with all Toby's friends and family at the local community centre. The bouncy castle and slide was a massive hit with young and old. I couldn't have asked for it to go any better. And the way Toby's face lit up when he saw his Peppa Pig cake made it all worth staying up till 3am to do! Once he'd blown the candle out he followed his Daddy into the kitchen to 'help' cut up the cake and sneaked off with Peppa! Kill-joy Mummy took it off him though- think we would all be up till 3am if he ate all that icing! As it was he was so tired he went to bed at 6pm!

Looking forward to a good nights sleep and a quieter celebration tomorrow for his proper birthday :0)
