The day after

Yesterday was my big birthday and after a long weekend of celebrations I forgot to post a blip! Must be getting old!!!

We really made the most of having the hot tub. It was such a treat. My birthday itself was lovely - beautiful weather, pancakes for breakfast cooked by my son, a walk by the lake, lunch and relaxing in the garden, a stream of gifts, flowers and messages all day and then takeaway dinner from the local Italian, a fabulous cake made by a friend and more time in the tub! It really feels like I had a mini break at home! Just perfect.

I was back to work today and a big meeting with our Exec team on some important work I’ve been leading. It went well but we have lots more to do!

We managed a walk before dinner. It was spitting and windy - what a change from yesterday! It’s got really windy tonight so we’re in far a wild one.
