“Sound management barrier”

I saw that slogan on a building site this morning. It made me think. Was it a barrier to sound management in which case the organisation being managed might be compromised? Then I wondered if it was actually a bar to sound being heard. If that was the case I think we need to pay even more attention to listening to those around us and not building barriers.

The beach this afternoon provided an alternative answer in the form of a beautiful rainbow across the Forth.
