Winter lettuce

One of my Christmas presents was a small hydroponics kit to grow lettuce on my windowsill using nothing but water, sunlight and a nutrient solution to add to the water, a few drops at a time. I started the seeds off back in January and they are just about ready for me to pick a few of the leaves, perhaps to add to a sandwich. I will be interested to see how big they will grow.
