Arty, crafty Sunday ..

Spent the morning helping mum make a birthday card for our lovely neighbour's birthday.

It reminded me why I was never any good at teaching - I just don't know where to place my approach - neither wanting to patronise, or presume too much ..

In the end mum kind of supervised and made the odd suggestion - but we got there ..

Went on an owl hunt in the afternoon, but just saw a distant barn owl.

I'd love a diagram of the relative sizes of birds from small to large - this is my first offering - a kestrel compared to a wood pigeon!
