Spittal Promenade
Had a lovely wander down here with friends today but was amazed by the amount of sand we had to walk through - on the prom... look here to see how it's supposed to look!
I'm quite surprised that after the high seas, the sand that was swept ashore has not been moved...sign of the financial times I guess!
Cloudy and misty but still warm and a lovely walk and talk!
Finished spinning my batt and am pleased with the result. Spent lots of time today on the phone - that's me caught up with friends and family!!
Great news for a holiday. My friends are taking a wee cottage in Ullapool in the summer and I will join them for a few days as tour guide. I just cannot wait! I am the Coigach and Assynt guide - I will work out both a wet and a dry weather plan - that really means fair or stormy...but I won't tell them til nearer the time!!
Assynt is the best place in the world and I cannot wait to go back again. Other great news - Susan is coming home for a week at Easter and one of those days is the Melrose 7's - fab!!!
All is well in my neck of the woods today!
