Woody Would You Know!

Great Spotted Woodpecker (m) Dendrocopos major

You can tell this is a male bird with its red patch on hindcrown.
Female have no red on head and juv. have an all red crown.

I had just returned, in car, with Sunday papers and noticed the woody on next doors nut feeder. Using the car as a hide i got some good pics and as soon as i got out of car it flew away!
