A moment of calm...

Interesting weather out there today! Sunny, very windy, mild, rainy - a little  bit of everything! Quite a few pots over in the garden so have just let them be until it all calms down there!

WAs supposed to be going to Hyde Hall today for our weekly walk, but they emailed early saying the gardens were shut for the day due to the bad weather, so I headed to the post office instead! And then for a wander along to the creek where the tide was in, and trying to take photos of the teal ducks and redshanks proved to be 'challenging'! So instead of being blown along there, I headed to Hadleigh Downs - surely walking in amongst trees that were swaying and creaking in the winds was a safer option?! haha!

It was nice to discover a new little path as well so look forward to exploring that on another adventure! Spotted a nice patch of wild violets flowering away too!

And then walked through the churchyard on the way back to enjoy the daffodils - those that were left standing anyway!
