Plant rescue...

I spotted these 2 little potted roses outside the florists yesterday being sold off for £1 as they weren't as pretty or perky as the newer ones they were selling for £7! I can never refuse a bargain so bought them home, repotted them and will see how they get on!

A dry morning followed by a windy, rainy afternoon - and another set of garden jobs completed!  The front garden rockery  has been a bit of a mess for a while now so todays' job was to remove a Juniper that had been in for about 40 years and had taken over! Was a bit of a battle but we weren't to be defeated and there's now fresh planting space for me to take advantage of over the weekend! Weather permitting!!

Gardeners world is back on tv tonight too... what new ideas will that give me?!
