Baguettes

Latest bakery experiment was prompted by a book Zoe brought from school and which I read to her as we waited for Mayson. “Nanette and her Baguette”. This was the second attempt and it tasted pretty authentic with crispy outside and soft airy inside. It did require 2 different starters and a day and a half of 9 separate steps but Zoe loved hers! Also got to be interviewed on news about the removal of the mask mandate in Texas. We are not changing anything until the numbers improve but it made for an interesting time - link here
