Busy Bee

I grew this bushy plant, Cuphea Ignea or Mexican cigar plant from a cutting and it is always alive with honey bees and bumble bees.  The forester noticed that the bees are getting the nectar from the base of the flowers.  In this shot I think the flower below the bee shows a hole in the base which could be made by the bees.  
This evening we are going to the Boat House cafe to met up with our neice who is returned home from London.  She is down visiting her parents.  We will learn how the job hunting and living with her future inlaws is going.
