Young Blackbutt

This beautiful sapling is that of a young blackbutt eucalypt. Usually I see huge mature ones with indeed very dark bark at the base before smooth trunks become visible.
 I wouldn't have picked this for a blackbutt as it is so smooth
but the label says so.  A lovely one to hug!
