Lapwings...

squeaking and Skylarks singing were the wonderful sounds that greeted me up here this morning. This  is a favoured nesting site.
Snow showers and sun continued all day and there was a dusting of snow lying first thing. It melted as the heat from the sun arrived.
Lots of bird song and Woodpeckers drumming.
Found the first frog spawn.
