Lockdown No3 - Day 67

The birthday boy, 92 years young today! A day full of birthday phone calls, birthday FaceTimes, and birthday doorstep visitors. This gorgeous bouquet of flowers also turned up, sent by a very kind Norwegian friend. Dad’s choice of birthday dinner: prawns to start, followed by duck and then a steamed pud with lashings of custard, and of course some fine wines!

No rain today, just lovely sunshine, but the gales have continued. Trying to mend a wobbly garden fence (again!), standing on top of a ladder in a gale, was great fun! We’re in for another stormy night tonight. I think I might as well give up sleeping for Lent...
