Lockdown No3. - Day 68

Spud the Sparrow and his friend Sid were playing hide and seek in the Spring sunshine this morning, but by lunchtime they were searching for shelter from the torrential hail showers that came and went for the rest of the day.

Today’s new recipe was a disaster, my cake should’ve looked like this but despite following the recipe very carefully, my caramel set solid, twice. So I gave up on the recipe and did my own thing, which is why you’ve got a photo of Spud rather than today’s Bon Appétit pic.
