Green Hellebore

This is Green Hellebore  (Helleborus viridis).  A fairly uncommon wild flower.
It is not to be confused with Stinking Hellebore (Helleborus feotidus). The latter also has green flowers but they have a pink border to the petals.

The Green Hellebore likes limestone and is found scattered among the limestone hills of South Lakeland and Morecambe Bay. In the rest of Cumbria it is fairly rare.

Managed to miss the hail showers on my walk. But there are strong winds and many flooded pathzs.
