25 Years
Today marks the 25th anniversary of an event that even today the enormity of it still sends a shiver!
The Dunblane Massacre.
On the 13th of March 1996, 16 young innocent children looked forward to another day of learning with their beloved teacher. They all, including their teacher, Gwen Mayor, never returned home that day.
Listening to the comments on Social media today, there are many who can still recall where they were as the events of the day unfolded and even now, they will still shed a tear....I for one can totally identify with them!
I cannot imagine the pain that the families involved went thru... and even today I'm sure that the memories of that day still haunt them.
We do not know what tomorrow will bring, but maybe this of all days is a reminder of the fragility of human life and also a reminder for us never to take for granted all those who are special and mean the most to us.
Let us take the time to remind them that they are loved.
