3's company...

...in the world of tulips

but i made them sit together anyway... i thought they looked quite splendid in a small grouping - versus a large one... and somehow - overnight almost all of them have opened big and wide - with blossoms like arms outstretched - waiting for you to walk into a huge hug... i didn't know tulips went so quickly from a mere bud to almost open - to really wide open like this... boo!

suffice it to say tomorrow may be the last day i have for photo opps - while making me a tad sad - you may be breathing a sigh of relief - thinking, finally - you'll see something different in my journal... although in my defense - i've tried to mix it up a bit and not shoot tulips day-after-day-after-day... which would be easy to do - they are so very pretty - make wonderfully patient studies - i mean they don't move, aren't moody, don't talk back, you can't ask for better... all-in-all - they've contributed to making for...
