At Polesden Lacey

L3 Day 84 - To Polesden Lacey. We had a 10am booking which was good as very busy later and a huge queue at the coffee kiosk. Really like the way they have notices attached to old garden forks and spades! Lots of daffodils but the snowdrops are over. We went to the ‘orchard’ for the first time where as well as lots of fruit trees, all labelled, there are a few chickens in a run, some beehives and a rather magnificent insect Hotel for bugs....see extra.
Lovely that both our children sent splendid flowers for Mother’s Day...one bouquet from the Isles of Scilly, including lovely smelling narcissi, and one large bouquet of tulips.
