Tulips for Mothering Sunday

Having changed to online supermarket shopping a year ago, due to the pandemic, we’ve had hardly any fresh flowers in the house. But, with Mothering Sunday and other recent events, we now have eight bunches in the house; we’ve run out of vases!

A busy morning in the kitchen whipping up a three course lunch, mum’s choice this time, then I dozed the afternoon away in front of the rugby. Yesterday’s cake turned out to be very tasty (see extra), it was just the caramel frosting and fudge decorations that went to pot.
