Mother’s Day in the rainforest

TSM had a plant based Mother’s Day. Dylan got in amongst the foliage, as he does. We had a special breakfast of sausage, mushroom, waffle and toast and engaged in happy banter before The Dizzle went to work at midday. Arsenal beat spurs 2-1 which is always a cause for joy in our household, and we took a walk into town and later on made aubergine and chickpea curry. 

Sainsbury’s man came with bags and bags of stuff and we played Ingenious after supper. TSM got an inflatable jigsaw puzzle mat delivered and I repaired storm damage in the garden - 20 out of 40 bulbs had been smashed thanks to the recent high winds. All good now. 

That’s too much excitement for one day, particulately the inflatable jigsaw puzzle mat. I am overstimulated and need to go and sit in a darkened room ... got knows what I’ll be like after lockdown - agoraphobic probably ...
