Sure Sign of Spring
This is the neighbor's crabapple tree, glowing against the dreary sky.
Not only is it Pi Day, it's the semi-annual We Don't Know What Time It Really Is Day, thanks to Daylight Savings Time.
We had dinner indoors at a restaurant with the family. It's a big space, so they can distance the tables nicely and leave doors open for a good cross breeze. Luckily we were inside instead of in the outdoor tent, because a good heavy cold rain began to fall just as we got there. It felt safe enough inside and the food was really good. It's rare that the five of us can get together anymore, so it was a special time to be out.
The cat still isn't eating, despite yesterday's interventions. We are just trying to keep him comfortable.
