Pas de Deux

From Swan Lake clearly.

Although RSPB  Leighton Moss Bird Reserve is still closed, there is a Public Footpath which runs right across it. That was our walk early on this fine morning.

These two were taking their early morning drink from a pool on the path. And it may be that they were also admiring themselves at the same time. They were clearly accustomed to people as they ignored us as we passed closely on the path.

They were not the only handsome birds on display as can be seen in my Extra shot of a very smart Mr. Teal.

The water level in the reserve was very high after last week’s persistent rain. But it was a grand sunny walk which gave a fine start to the day.
