Today's the day ......................... to do it because we could

A beautifully warm, sunny day here today - perfect for sitting outside in the garden and having tea and cake.

And that's just what we did when John and Lesley dropped in half-way round their walk this afternoon.  The even nicer thing was that it was all perfectly in line with current restrictions now that things have been relaxed slightly.  It was lovely to see them both and catch up with how they were.

It's been so long since we've been able to do something so simple - that used to be a regular occurrence.  It made it all the more enjoyable ......................
