Jmoney

A small wad of Japanese money. Seems like I spent quite a bit of this stuff yesterday ad today. Counting money in Japan is kind of hard. For example 10,000 is called ichi man. That would be one ten thousand. 20,000 would be ni man or two ten thousand. This means 2,000,000 is ni hyaku man or two one hundred thousand. In other words, it is different from our English counting. In my previous job for The Hartford Life Insurance Company's Japan Operations, I worked in sales and really had to get my numbers down, especially since I was often interpreting for the Company President and/or Head of Sales.
