St Patrick’s Day

A walk on the beach this afternoon in weather warmer than many a midsummer day! We avoided the crowds. It was good to catch up with Blipper Jon Davey and congratulate him on his recent feature in The Guardian. We also had a conversation about the role of the photographer prompted by the increase in remote direction of iconic photographs!

My blip shows a trusty Lothian bus on route 26 through Portobello. Tonight from 1930 all Lothian buses were suspended due to acute anti social vandalism against buses and drivers. Bit by bit it seems as if lockdown lawlessness is getting the upper hand. Our fragile urban society is under siege.
