A familiar sight

We left the Western Slope of Colorado and came home to the Front Range. We left sunny warmish weather, came over Monarch Pass in a snow storm, and arrived to decidedly cooler weather and some clouds. This is the view of Pikes Peak, covered in snow and under a cloud, that I saw on my late afternoon walk with Laney.
The vacation was restful and refreshing, but it’s great to be back home in familiar territory!
