A day for toads!

Another lovely hot and sunny day and on a walk to the loch I overtook 68 toads and two newts all heading the same way! Found their laying area in the reeds at the far end of the loch, heard them singing too! Great sight and sound!

Later went to a second Lochan above the house and again it was covered with mating and calling toads!
