The Bore…

was an amazing sight from the cottage this morning. The river had been flat calm then on hearing rippling water I looked up to see this wall of water making its way upstream. First time I’ve seen it here!
A glorious day of birdsong, Barnacle Geese, Curlew, Redshank, Oystercatchers, Wigeon, Reed Buntings and all the small hedgerow birds.
Hot and sunny so outside all day!
