The Old Farmhouse

This old farmhouse is another building we pass regularly on our walks round Street. It looks pretty derelict and I don’t think I’ve ever seen any signs of life, apart from an old horse that used to live in the field, but today this truck was parked in the yard. Although it’s on the edge of Street, it’s not as remote as the photo suggests, being at the bottom of a busy residential road and with a housing estate behind. I imagine the land would fetch a high price from any developers.

Tess got the kitchen back neat and tidy  this morning while I painted the skirting board then did my best to undo her good work by baking the weekly bread.
