Birches, larch and a splash of colour

A favourite stand of Trees. The green tinge on the larch is caused by a dense growth of (mainly) beard lichens.

The extra is a vibrant cluster of crocus in J's garden. In the warm sunshine this morning they were wide open and attracting early bees.
