Soaking in the Rain

Rain dominated the day although it was gentle and temps were moderate. I watched for a break and hurried out to snap this photo. There were certainly fewer buds on my Hellebore than the one at the farm but the blossoms are quite showy. My soil is not as fertile. My sister and I worked on our part of the craft project at our own homes, trading texted updates as we made a little progress. Her part is more complicated for sure because I do not dare to use a sewing machine. Hubby finished assembling a gift that will be tucked in Easter baskets we give each family. Tomorrow, my job will be to lightly protect the wood with Danish oil. Fingers crossed. Then I will affix engraved instructions constructed by a friend on the front. Can’t wait to blip the results soon. Pizza from the local shop for dinner, a tasty treat for a change. We reap what we sow as the two Hellebore plants affirm. My sister constantly amends her garden soil and her results are premium. A good lesson for all. Thanks for the visits, comments and stars. Have really enjoyed our recent chats.
