LychGate -St. Lawrence Church, Bidborough Kent.

Unusually, St Lawrence Church has 2 Lychgates - this is the one at the rear.
The steps show wonderful signs of wear from the countless pairs of feet which must have climbed them over the years, for the church dates back to 11th Century in parts.
If you zoom in, you can see that this gate was erected in 1879.
