Roadside Memorial

A slightly morbid blip today but one which may serve as a timely reminder.

The road from here to Dublin has been vastly upgraded in recent years but still seems to act like a magnet for accidents, with many fatalities being recorded. In the first 20 miles North out of here I know of 14 of these roadside memorials erected by the bereaved as sad memorials to those (mostly young men under 25 years of age) who have lost their lives.

So, as you look at this, remember to take care as you drive. The life you save might well be your own.
