Waiting

This is the view from my front room , I’m waiting to speak to my dad , our usual , precooked Saturday call .
I have a dilemma , I’ve rung several times and received no answer , the next step is to ring the home on the landline which I have done . They say they will call back when they have a minute .
Past experience says this will not happen !
Do accept this knowing that a call back is unlikely?
Do I ring and harass knowing they might be dealing with an emergency?
It’s been a difficult week for my dad and the family with hospital visits and uncertain outcomes .

I have had a migraine the last couple of days so have avoided screens . Hope to catch up with your news over the weekend.

This afternoon I have a zoom call with a few family members to do some online crafts together. My neice has set up a support group for women who have experienced domestic violence . Their meetings include crafting together , she is going to do some with my sister and I and our daughters this afternoon . It should be fun .
I’m going to sign of now , take a deep breath and call my dad again .
