As bright as white

Spring blossom cries out to be photographed and the tree this is from is smothered in these delicate white petals.  I've added an extra taken from further away.  I've also added a picture of part of the brook near the stables.

Work on the brook continues and good progress is being made, but there's still a long way to go.  I can't wait to take a walk through it from end to end.

I forgot to mention yesterday that the sparrowhawk got lucky at lunchtime, before I had the chance to shoo it away.  I know it has to eat, but not my birds please because that makes me responsible for their fate.
