Walking in sunshine

JJ and I had a stroll over the fields, along the old railway line and ridge before dropping down through the outskirts of the village and home.  

I say home, but we spent a lot of time chatting to the community neighbours working hard to clear the ditch before the deadline of next weekend, when nesting season officially starts (apparently).  I've added an extra with James in the ditch and Ian on the bank, which gives an idea of the scope of the work involved.

The farmer has been out and sprayed his field, so presumably he'll be along shortly to plough and plant.
