Grape hyacinth struggling, peeking though the grasses in the verge down our lane. They are there every year and probably go unnoticed by the general populous passing on the treacherous corner by the postbox.
A very satisfying day in all with one of the garages cleaned out - totally unrecognisable in fact to the vision of mess and devastation that had accumulated in there over the years nay centuries! Gone and banished were the words, 'it may come in useful' which have obviously been our watchword forever. Many things actually do come in useful - that's the Yorkshire in me, however today we've been dangerously liberated! About time ......
Rice pudding in the oven with a coating of nutmeg for that extra je ne sais quoi tonight. Yum!
