First fresh rhubarb.

Awoke this morning to find I was back and wanting to do things, slight aching around my kidneys but other than that felt good again.

Today is mum's 82nd birthday and we'd arranged a surprise zoom call, brother-in-law was at hers to get her started but she did well after that.

I then popped in for a 'sit in the garden' visit with Danish pastry and tea.

After that I spent the rest of the day with RF, we built her new cold frame and sorted through seed packets to sow then walked the dogs before making a lovely chilli for dinner. We watched the final of The Voice, one of the contestants comes from Winchester, she did great but didn't win.

The rhubarb is from RF's garden, she has a very early variety which is growing superbly.
