Spring equinox.

To celebrate the spring equinox and my mum's birthday here is a Daffodil sitting in a vase in my kitchen. After heavy rain last Wednesday I picked all the stems which were beaten down on the driveway, no idea which variety but they are beautifully dainty.

Met RF at the mill for lunch then collected Murphy and Willis before taking cake and presents to mum for her 83rd birthday.  She has obviously been enjoying the day and the cards received but I think the excitement was telling a little.
