A day at the seaside with OH and MIL. First outing for a long time and I vowed to make sure we take her out more often. The sun came out and we had a very short walk. We found a bench and I got coffees and some cake. We also visited a fresh fish shop and bought some cod and tuna and scallops for the freezer. Simple pleasures which when you are fit and able it’s easy to take for granted. However when you are 87 and desperate for a hip replacement and can’t drive and reliant on others, it’s not so easy. I’m determined to be kinder and more patient!
