Swan Courtship

Our local lake at Killingworth just keeps on giving at the moment! After having seen the courting grebes a couple of weeks ago, and a goosander on Monday, we were treated to a courting display by a pair of swans during our walk this morning. It started off very delicately, at which time I got the photo  of the lovely heart shape which I’ve used as the main blip. After that it got quite frisky for a few moments (1st & 2nd extras - Ooh La La!) before a pesky adolescent swan came and interrupted them (3rd extra.) Such is life!
