Workin' in the Gherkin

I started a new contract with Swiss Re today. On the 9th floor of 30 St Mary Axe (aka the Gherkin). My first day of work for five months! Unfortunate time to start with Anne 38 weeks pregnant, I think Sod's Law applies.

I'm staying at SACO Foundry Court in Aldgate this week. It's a two bedroom apartment (for the price of one) and is massive. I appreciate the space but it does accentuate the fact I'm on my own.

This is my first entry since August last year. A lot of back blipping to do!
