Lloyds Building

Took the photo just a few yards down St Mary Axe from the Gherkin. Two iconic buildings soon to be joined on the City skyline by The Pinnacle and The Leadenhall Building. There certainly is a lot of construction going on round here. No tramlines being installed though.

My second day at Swiss Re - the similarities start to emerge between the data structures here and the setup I remember at Standard Life. But it's all in a different language with lots of new acronyms to learn.

It definitely felt above 10 degrees when I went out at lunchtime today so it was like springtime has arrived. Nice and sunny too.
